In 2008, a serendipitous moment changed the course of my life forever. It was during Liverpool's celebration of the Capital of Culture when the BBC's coverage of the Antiques Roadshow took place at St Georges Hall in Liverpool. As I tuned in to the Sunday evening presentation, one individual in particular captured my attention – Philip Mould. In his hands, he held a polished bronze Bull, and with great expertise, he critiqued the sculptor behind this magnificent artwork, Arthur Dooley.
Little did I realize that this single encounter would shape my entire future, immersing me into the captivating world of Arthur Dooley. It wasn't a conscious decision on my part; it felt as though destiny had led me to this path. Working with all things Dooley has now become my life's passion, and I find immense joy in dedicating myself to it on a daily basis.
